Phoenix Convention Center – North Building
100 N 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004
4-8 January 2015
Please be aware that AMS has NOT contracted with any outside vendor to secure hotel rooms. We have been made aware that some companies are reaching out to our Exhibitors and Attendees, offering to book hotel rooms for them. Please disregard any email or phone calls you might have receive. The only way to officially make hotel reservations for the 95th Annual Meeting is through this page.
Please only book a room if you know you will use it. If you need to cancel, please do so promptly to allow others to take your spot and to avoid penalty fees that might be incurred by AMS.
We urge you to book at an AMS-contracted hotel since revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum. Make your reservations early since space is limited. Be sure to indicate that you are with the American Meteorological Society when making reservations to receive AMS special rates.
Reservations by debit card are not recommended as the hotel will enact a hold on account funds to ensure available funding upon check-out. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit the one night's room and tax deposit.
There will be no shuttle service in Phoenix as all of our contracted hotels are within an easy 1-2 block walk from the convention center.

Transportation is easy in Phoenix and its surrounding communities. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is located five minutes from downtown Phoenix and 20 to 30 minutes from most hotels and resorts. The nation’s newest light-rail system connects Phoenix to Tempe and Mesa, and stops at a station where you can catch a quick shuttle to the airport. And if you’re looking for quick Point A-to- Point B transportation in downtown Phoenix, flag down one of the plentiful pedicabs.
