Environment & Health at the AMS
The $95 abstract fee (payable by credit card or purchase order) is refundable only if your abstract is not accepted.
Your fee includes your abstract, extended abstract (optional), and your recorded oral presentation posted to the online program which is available to all visitors for free.
The Board on Environment and Health is pleased to be able to offer presentation and travel awards to participating students of the 97th Annual AMS meeting. Individuals who have questions or are interested in applying for these opportunities should contact Augusta Williams: email@example.com with the appropriate information.
Student Presentation Awards:
Three (3) presentation awards, in total, will be extended to the top student presenters (undergraduate or graduate) participating in the Eighth Conference on Environment and Health. The awards include $200 to assist with the expenses of participating in the conference and a certificate of achievement from the AMS. Students will be graded by board members, using a standardized rubric, where the highest cumulative scores will receive an award. To be eligible, students must participate in the Eighth Conference on Environment and Health and must be a current student in good academic standing (e.g. not on probation or disciplinary action for grades or conduct).
After submitting their abstract, interested students should complete the following form (http://goo.gl/forms/kbwqgZLVw9) and submit their resume or CV to Augusta Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the subject: “AMS 97th Conference – Student Presentation Awards” by August 15th, 2016. Students should Award announcements will be made by the middle of February, 2017 after the conference.
