The 10th Symposium on the Coastal Environment, sponsored by the American Meteorological Society, and organized by the AMS Committee on the Coastal Environment, will be held 22–26 January 2012, as part of the 92nd AMS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Papers for this conference are solicited on: IOOS/SURA Super-Regional Coastal Modeling Testbed (topics on shelf and estuarine hypoxia and inundation/storm surge; perhaps model skill assessment metrics & cyber infrastructure); Northern Gulf of Mexico; Multiple Use of Coastal Environmental Sensors and Models; Coastal Upwelling and Downwelling; and Observations and Modeling of Land-Falling Tropical Cyclones.
