AMS Books will be on display at the AMS Publications booth along Publisher's Row in the Exhibit Hall. To purchase copies, meet authors, and get their signatures, stop by the Resource Center, where past years' authors included Louis Uccellini, Paul Kocin, IPCC Coordinating Lead Author Richard Somerville, and science journalists Jack Williams and Robert Henson. This year's new releases include Midlatitude Synoptic Meteorology, by Gary Lackmann, and Economic and Societal Impacts of Tornadoes, by Kevin M. Simmons and Daniel Sutter, who will also discuss their forthcoming book, Deadly Season, which covers the 2011 tornado season.
