Research to Operations Testbeds
Conference Program
View by day or program, includes author index and personal scheduler
This session will describe research to operations testbeds for weather, ocean, and climate applications. Testbeds cover a wide range of capabilities -- and include organizations, architectures, processes, and methods that are needed to demonstrate the value of new science or technology outside, or in addition to, the constraints of an operational organization or framework. Results are used to determine the most efficient and effective means to move the capability or process into an operational environment, or a combined research and operational environment.
Host Conference: Second Conference on Transition of Research to Operations: Successes, Plans, and Challenges
Partnering Conference:
16th Symp on Integrated Observing and Assimilation Systems for the Atmosphere, Oceans, and Land Surface (IOAS-AOLS)
18th Conference on Satellite Meteorology and Oceanography / First Joint AMS-Asia Satellite Meteorology Conference
