Teachers, students, families! Mark your calendar for the American Meteorological Society’s 11th Annual WeatherFest, a cool, super-size science fair to teach you all about the weather, climate and related fields.
What is WeatherFest?
WeatherFest will feature more than 65 cool and interactive science exhibits with experiments, educational information, career guides, and much more from scientists and teachers from all over the nation. The mission of WeatherFest is to instill a love for math and science in children of all ages and to spark a young person’s interest in this area so they may consider a career in these and other science and engineering fields.
This is a fun afternoon designed not only for the residents of New Orleans but for all attending the annual meeting.
