AMS’s K-12 Science Teachers Educational Outreach Initiative: Registration is free for the workshop and short course. Sponsored registration available for 93rd Annual Meeting is on a first come basis; should no sponsorship be available, a special registration fee of $200 is in place for other teacher opportunities at the 93rd Annual Meeting.

12th Annual AMS Student Conference and Career Fair Registration

A registration fee of $25 has been set for this conference and registration must be completed online. There will be no on-site registration and YOU MUST REGISTER BY 18 December 2012. Students requesting to register after December 18th will need to pay a $15 late fee, in addition to the $25 registration fee. There will be no requests honored after January 1, 2013. Attendees must register separately for the 93rd AMS Annual Meeting. Registrations must be completed on-line by 1 January 2013.

Inaugural AMS Conference for Early Career Professionals: Join us for the First Annual AMS Conference for Early Career Professionals,hosted by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Board for Early Career Professionals. Please note that you must be an AMS member or student member in order to register for the conference.

Special Symposium on the Transport and Diffusion of Contaminants from the Fukushima Dai-Ichi Nuclear Power Plant: Present Status and Future Directions: The AMS Committee on Meteorological Aspects of Air Pollution and the Meteorological Society of Japan (MSJ) will jointly present a one-day specialty symposium to review the present status and identify the role of meteorology for the analysis of the transport and diffusion of contaminants from the Fukushima nuclear power plant. The symposium will be held on Sunday, 6 January 2013 in conjunction with the AMS annual meeting in Austin, TX. The cost of preregistration is $103 until 3 December 2012 and preregistration must be completed online. Registrations received between 4 December 2012 and the conference dates will be $128. After 10 December 2012, registration may be done at the meeting or online only. Registration for the Fukushima Symposium does not include registration for the 93rd AMS Annual Meeting,

16th Conference of Atmospheric Science Librarians International Registration: All attendees for the 16th Conference of Atmospheric Science Librarians International (ASLI) must register and wear a badge. This year, ASLI Conference attendees should register in advance through the AMS website for $50 until 3 December 2012. Registrations received between 4 December 2012 and the conference dates will be $75. After 10 December 2012, you must register at the meeting or online only. Credit cards are now accepted. For those registering on-site, please register at the AMS Annual Meeting registration desk. Registration for the ASLI Conference does not include registration for other 93rd AMS Annual Meeting events, but ASLI Conference registrants may access the exhibits.
