Daily Weather Briefings

The National Weather Service Atlanta Forecast Office, and students from the University of Georgia, will present daily lunchtime weather briefings at the 2014 Annual Meeting. The focus of these 15–20-minute briefings will be on near- and short-term weather impacting the Atlanta area and extreme weather affecting urban or other vulnerable areas across the globe. This year the briefings will also include a Space Weather Briefing by a representative of NOAA’s Space Environment Center.
