Location of Functions and Events

Annual Meeting registration, scientific sessions, poster sessions, short courses, town hall meetings, special sessions, the Annual Meeting Banquet, the Bosart Symposium Luncheon, and exhibits will be held in the Washington State Convention Center, 705 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101-2310 (Tel: 206-694-5000). AMS committee meetings and the Houze Symposium Dinner will be held at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, 1400 6th Avenue, Seattle, WA, 98101, (Tel: 206-621-9000).

The AMS Resource Center provides information about AMS membership and programs, including journals and books, certification, precollege and college education initiatives, student opportunities, the AMS Policy Program, local chapters, and AMS meetings. AMS provides many opportunities for everyone across the entire enterprise, whether you're just starting your career or have years of experience in your field.

AMS Info Desk

Level 4 of the Convention Center

The AMS Information Desk is located on Level 4 of the Washington State Convention Center at the top of the escalators. The hours of operation on Sunday–Thursday will coincide with those of the AMS Registration Desk. The Information Desk provides maps of the Convention Center as well as schedules of committee meetings and conference sessions, plus details on other programs of interest.

Email Stations

E-mail stations will be located on Level 6 and the Tahoma Level of the Washington State Convention Center. As a courtesy to other attendees, e-mail users are asked to limit their time at the e-mail stations. Hours of operation during Sunday–Thursday, 22-26 January, are from 7:30 A.M. until the close of activities in the Convention Center.

For attendees with their own laptops, wireless access will be free in all public areas, such as lobby/prefunction spaces.

Member Services

A Member Services Desk is collocated with the AMS Registration Desk in the Skybridge area of the Washington State Convention Center. The Member Services Desk provides attendees with the opportunity to renew dues, apply for membership, and/or inquire about account activity. AMS staff will be available for assistance during the following times: Monday, 10:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M.; Tuesday–Wednesday, 7:30 A.M.–6:00 P.M.; and Thursday, 7:30 A.M.–3:00 P.M.

Business Center

Level 1 of the Convention Center

The FedEx Office Center is located on the first level of the Washington State Convention Center. From posters and banners to business cards to office supplies, they have the convention needs of presenters, attendees, and exhibitors covered. Their packing pros and convenient shipping services can be relied upon when it is time to head home.

FedEx Office Convention Center offers extended hours during the Annual Meeting: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 A.M.–10:00 P.M.; Friday, 7:00 A.M.–9:00 P.M.; Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M.

Message Center

AMS will operate a message center in the lobby of the Washington State Convention Center for meeting attendees and exhibitors. The message center hours of operation are listed below. To leave messages for attendees or exhibitors, please call 206-219-4501:
