Congratulations for being selected as presenter in the American Meteorological Society’s 102nd Annual Meeting!

 

1 November 2021: deadline for edits to title and author list

1 November 2021: deadline to confirm presentation preference (remote or in-person)

15 December: deadline to select presentation date(s) and time(s) for Remote Poster Presenters

5 January: deadline to submit a prerecorded video for Remote Oral Presenters

24-27 January 2022: abstracts are presented during the 102nd Annual Meeting

25 February 2022: supplementary information upload deadline

 

Please visit https://ams.confex.com/ams/102ANNUAL/gateway.cgi and sign in with your AMS account credentials.

You will be brought to a page that provides a list of entries/submissions such as topics or abstracts you have submitted OR on which you are the presenting author. Click the link to the appropriate link to access your abstract.

Presenter’s Corner can be used to:

  • Confirm/Change Presentation Method: Remote/In-Person (by 1 November)
  • Check/Change Abstract Title (by 1 November)
  • Check/Change Author Listing (by 1 November)
  • Upload Presentation File: Slides (at least 4 hours before your session)
  • Upload PDF of Poster (Optional)
  • Upload Image(s) (Optional)
  • Upload PDF of Slides (Optional)
  • Upload Extended Abstract (by 25 February)
  • Upload Optional PDF Presentation Slide File (by 25 February)
  • Add a Supplementary URL (by 25 February)
  • Withdraw Abstract

An In-Person Poster Presentation is able to upload the below presentation files. Please note these are optional.

The Standard Poster Display is a 4'H x 6'W (1.2m x 1.8m) (a NEW smaller size) double-sided Velcro covered panel. These panels have a horizontal/landscape orientation. Presenters are not permitted to move the boards or change the orientation.

  • Presentation File: Slides (at least 4 hours before your session)
  • Optional Extended Abstract (by 25 February)
  • Optional PDF Presentation Slide File (by 25 February)
  • Optional Supplementary URL (by 25 February)
  • Enter meeting links (Zoom, GTM, etc.) by 15 December 
  • Optional PDF of Poster
  • Optional Image(s)
  • Optional PDF of Slides
  • Optional Extended Abstract (by 25 February)
  • An Optional Supplementary URL (by 25 February)
  • Remotely give your poster presentation to attendees via presenter supplied meeting link (Zoom, GoogleMeet etc) during the time(s) you self-selected
    • We suggest that you include 2 separate times, about 20-30 minutes, to allow you to reach both those that are attending remotely as well as those attending in-person. 
      • To reach those attending remotely, please schedule a time within one of the daily on-site formal poster viewings.

      • To reach those attending in person, please be sure to schedule a time outside of the program hours
  • Field questions asked by attendees and/or participate in discussion if time allows
  • Optional Backup Presentation File: Recorded video file or slides (by 5 January)
  • Optional Extended Abstract (by 25 February)
  • Optional PDF Presentation Slide File (by 25 February)
  • Optional Supplementary URL (by 25 February)
  • Join the in-person session room via zoom 30 minutes before scheduled session time
  • Present your slides by sharing your screen during your scheduled presentation time
  • Field questions asked by in-person and remote attendees and/or participate in discussion if time allows

We encourage all presenters to submit supplementary information as your time to present at the meeting is limited. Posting this information online is an excellent opportunity to include more detailed information that may require more time for study than is available at the meeting. All supplementary information is available in the meeting online program within 24 hours of upload – so you can reference it before, during, and after the meeting!
