AMS has secured a housing block for meeting attendees across several hotels  in New Orleans within walking distance to the Convention Center.

Travel

Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are encouraged to book their reservations at AMS-contracted hotels to help the Society avoid penalties for not filling its hotel block. This will help slow the rate of growth in registration fees. All guaranteed reservations are for the date of arrival only. Attendees who fail to notify the hotel that they are arriving on a different day may lose their room.

Please note that rooms are available at the AMS rate on a space available basis until the Cut-off date. To ensure you are able to make a reservation at the AMS rate, we recommend you book as soon as possible. Those unable to find rooms using the provided booking links should contact AMS Meetings ([email protected]).

Look Out for Hotel Scammers 

  • If you do not book through the AMS official block, the AMS is unable to help you resolve any issues with the hotel.

  • Tech-savvy scammers create fake reservations and websites that look legitimate. If you book through these sites, you run the risk of arriving and not having a hotel room. 

  • For your own protection, please do not make reservations through any unknown housing or travel company.

  • Never book from an email that does not come from an ametsoc.org email address.

  • Do not give your credit card information or make any reservations with any website other than the ones originated from AMS.

  • If it seems too good to be true, it probably  is.
