The  Tenth Symposium on US-International Partnerships is sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS International Affairs Committee.

Call for Papers

Papers for this conference are solicited on the following topics:

  • Weaving Technology, Social Science, Disaster Preparedness and Weather Science For Enhancing International Risk Management: Seeking abstracts examining risk management efforts, especially associated with past disasters across the world, and best practices (across disciplines) that can contribute to better resilience.

The Tenth Symposium on US-International Partnerships will also include invited panel discussions focused on:

  • Building Resilience in the Caribbean:  Regional Approaches to advance Early Warnings for All
  • Public Private Partnerships Advancing National Meteorological and Hydrological Services
  • Atmospheric Science in a Spectrum Constrained World
  • The National Plan for Civil Earth Observations and Innovations in International Earth Observation Cooperation
  • Current Challenges and Future Directions of Weather and Climate-related National Societies.
