Location
The 2024 AMS Washington Forum will take place at the NOAA Center for Weather and Climate Prediction (NCWCP) located at 5830 University Research Ct. College Park, MD.
Persons traveling by automobile may park in the NCWCP parking garage at no charge. When you enter the facility on the left end of University Research Court, stay in the right lane. You will need to show government identification (e.g. CAC card or driver's license) at the guard gate. After passing through the gate, park in the garage immediately to the right, avoiding marked handicapped and carpool spots. Please park on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the parking garage. Enter the building via the front entrance, not the employee's side entrance.

Accommodations
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. We urge you to book your hotel room at the The Hotel at The University of Maryland located at 7777 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD 20740, as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.
A block of rooms was reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at the special rate of $258.00 plus tax and a group of rooms was at the government per diem* ($209.00) plus tax for those who qualify. Rates do not include applicable taxes, services, or Hotel-specific fees.

Cancellation Policy
Reservation must be cancelled 72 hours before 4 pm arrival time to avoid one night penalty.

Please note that rooms are available at the AMS rate on a space available basis until this date. To ensure you are able to make a reservation at the AMS rate, we recommend you book as soon as possible.
