The 21st Conference on Mountain Meteorology will take place in Boise, Idaho! For more information and to plan your trip check out the Boise website here.
All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the Boise Centre, at 850 W. Front Street Boise, ID 83702.
Accommodations
A block of rooms is reserved at the hotel Hampton Inn and Suites By HiltonHampton Inn and Suites By Hilton for meeting attendees at the special rate of $189.00 plus tax and a group of rooms is at the government per diem* ($165.00) plus tax for those who qualify. Rates do not include applicable taxes, services, or Hotel-specific fees.
Attendees are responsible for making and paying their own hotel arrangements. We urge you to book your hotel room at the Hampton Inn and Suites By Hilton as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.
The hotel includes Free Breakfast and is within walking distance to the Boise Centre. To make your reservation within the AMS block please see below.

$165.00 per night plus applicable taxes and fees
*Please note that this rate is available only to federal government employees. Those who book within this block must present a federal government employee ID upon check-in.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
Guests can cancel up to 3:00pm – 24 hours prior to the day of arrival. Late cancellations will result in one night’s room and tax being charged to the credit card provided by the guest.

Check-out: Before 12:00 PM

*Please note that rooms are available at the AMS rate on a space available basis until this date. To ensure you are able to make a reservation at the AMS rate, we recommend you book as soon as possible.
Transportation
Boise is one of the West’s most walkable cities. There are nearly a hundred restaurants within steps of the city center. If you want to venture beyond downtown, you can grab a cab, Uber or Lyft, scooter, rent a bike or take the public bus. The Boise Airport is just four miles or ten minutes from the heart of downtown.
