Conferences and Symposia

Representing the core of the AMS Annual Meeting, they provide the backbone for the organization of our technical sessions.

Short Courses enable you to hone your skills and increase your knowledge in your chosen area of expertise or learn about another. Short courses take place the weekend, 21–22 January 2016, prior to the Annual Meeting. Course names and schedules will be posted shortly.

Town Hall Meetings

More informal in nature than our technical sessions, our Town Hall Meetings cover some of the hottest topics and draw some of the biggest names in the water, weather, and climate community.

Side Panel Discussions

New this year, our Side Panel Program is partnered with Town Hall Meetings to allow for the conversation to continue outside of the technical sessions with the ability of the conversation to be recorded.
