2017 AMS Annual Meeting

We encourage all attendees to use public transportation to/from the airport and around Seattle.

Airport Shuttles

A number of airport shuttles are available at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) with service to downtown Seattle.  Please note AMS is not affiliated with any of the following airport shuttle companies:

Downtown Airporter (www.downtownairporter.com; 425-981-7000) picks up and drops off passengers at the inner drive curb on the third floor of the Sea-Tac Parking Garage. It departs twice an hour between 6:30 A.M. and 9:00 P.M., with service to and from several major downtown Seattle hotels (Madison Renaissance, Crowne Plaza, Fairmont Olympic, Hilton Hotel, Seattle Sheraton, Grand Hyatt, Westin Hotel and Warwick Hotel). Rates from $18 one way.

SpeediShuttle (www.speedishuttleseattle.com; 844-877-3334) picks up passengers at Island 2 on the third floor of the Sea-Tac Parking Garage. Shared ride, door-to-door service is available to and from Sea-Tac Airport, destinations throughout King County, and the Seattle metropolitan area.  Rates from $15.99 one way.

Conference Shuttle

All hotels are within walking distance of the Washington State Convention Center. A shuttle will be available between the Convention Center, the Westin Hotel (0.3 miles from the Convention Center) for the convenience of meeting attendees.

Car Rental

Enterprise is the official rental car agency for the 2017 Annual Meeting and special rates are available. Advance reservations may be made online (www.enterprise.com). Select “Corporate Account,” then “Make a Reservation.” Simply enter the account number (10AT034) and the first three letters of the account name (AMS). Reservations may also be made by phone by calling Enterprise (1-800-593-0505). When making a reservation, please mention the AMS Corporate Account number.

Parking Details/Costs

Parking is available near the Washington State Convention Center for $29 per day with no in–out privileges (subject to change).

Public Transportation

 

AMS encourages all attendees to use public transportation to and from the airport and around Seattle. Information on Seattle’s Link Light Rail system is available online (http://www.soundtransit.org/Schedules/Link-light-rail).

Taxi

Seattle Yellow Cab is the exclusive provider of taxis for the only taxi stands at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). Taxi stands are located on the third floor of the North and South Parking Garages at Sea-Tac. Reservations are not required. Handicap-accessible taxis are available.          

There is a $40.00 flat rate in effect for trips from the downtown Seattle hotel district to Sea-Tac, but there is no flat rate in effect for trips from Sea-Tac to the downtown Hotel district. Cab fare from Sea-Tac to the downtown area typically runs $42–$50.
