AMS is dedicated to providing accessible housing options for all participants. We actively work with our venue and hotel partners to secure accommodations that meet varied physical and sensory needs, striving to eliminate barriers so every attendee can fully participate in the conference experience.

AMS offers accessible rooms at all participating hotels within close proximity to the Colorado Convention Center (CCC) to ensure all attendees have a comfortable stay.

How to Reserve an Accessible Room

For most properties, reserving an accessible room is a simple process:

1. Book your room using the standard hotel reservation link.
2. Note your specific accessibility requirements in the comments/special requests section during checkout.
3. Contact AMS Accessibility to notify us of your reservation details so we can confirm and coordinate your requests directly with the hotel staff.

Note: The Sheraton Denver Downtown is the only property that uses a direct booking link to select accessible room types directly during booking. The option to note accessibility needs will be on the page following the room type.

Book Your Hotel

*Guests reserving at the government per diem rate must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Acceptable forms of identification include federal, state, local government, or military IDs. Failure to provide appropriate identification may result in the reservation being adjusted to the prevailing hotel rate.

Look Out for Hotel Scammers 

• If you do not book through the AMS official block, the AMS is unable to help you resolve any issues with the hotel.
• Tech-savvy scammers create fake reservations and websites that look legitimate. If you book through these sites, you run the risk of arriving and not having a hotel room. 
• For your own protection, please do not make reservations through any unknown housing or travel company.
• Never book from an email that does not come from an ametsoc.org email address.
• Do not give your credit card information or make any reservations with any website other than the ones originated from AMS.
• If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
