  • A great professional headshot may be the first thing recruiters see on line. Having a professional photo vs. not having one makes a difference. 
• Company features, speaking engagements, or industry associations.  
• Your AMS Community profile
• Networking engagements
  • A visual image helps you stand out and be memorable, especially in our recently more virtual way of operating.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE

Generally for men, dark suit or jacket (grey, navy for example). Solid colors distract less than clothing with too much pattern. A photo with and without a tie may be taken. If not wearing a jacket, usually a light colored shirt is better than white for the best definition, however, white can certainly be worn. 

For women, if wearing a pattern, a colored jacket or sweater over it works well. Bold or distracting patterns or colors should be avoided.  Bare arms for women can work, but bringing a jacket or sweater to have two different looks is suggested. A photo with and without a jacket/sweater may be taken. Nothing too trendy so the photo will have longevity.
