Chinese Meteorological Society (CMS), founded in 1924, seeks to promote meteorological observation, research, and development. Co-published internationally by the CMS and Springer Nature, Journal of Meteorological Research (JMR) reports the latest achievements in observational, modeling, and theoretical research and applications in weather forecasting and climate prediction, as well as related topics in geosciences and environmental sciences. JMR covers a wide range of topics such as weather forecast and climate prediction, global climate change, monsoons, satellite meteorology, Tibetan Plateau meteorology, earth system modeling, atmospheric chemistry and environment, and so on. Journal of Meteorological Research (JMR), an official journal of the Chinese Meteorological Society (CMS), is looking for a technical editor/proofreader to help editing the accepted English papers and improve the presentation/language of the papers. The successful candidate should demonstrate professional experience in meteorological research and publication, and desire to know more about meteorology development in China. He/She is expected to have good communication skills with the authors and the JMR editorial team.

Preferred candidates:
Retired professors/researchers;
Graduate students with 2-3 published papers
Compensation is commensurate with qualification and experience
