Arrival Guide: Your First Steps at the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRB) in Houston, Texas

Welcome to Houston! Below is a guide on how to enter the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRB) via a few different entrances, how to navigate towards the registration hall, and how to pick up your badge:

Entrances
You may enter the GRB via:

  • Hilton Skybridge (2nd floor)
  • Marriott Skybridge (2nd or 3rd floor)
  • Ground-floor entrances
  • Parking garages

Badge Pick-Up (Hall B3, 3rd Floor, GRB)

  • Use elevators or escalators to reach the third floor. Located at each entrance.
    • Approximate distance from the following entrances to Hall B3
      • Hilton Lobby (via 3rd floor Skybridge) - 600 feet (182 meters)
      • Marriott Lobby (Via 2nd Floor Sky bridge) - 500 feet (152 meters)
      • Ground floor entrances (average) - 723 feet (220 meters)
      • Parking garages (average) - 900 feet (274 meters)
  • Have your QR code (emailed before the meeting) or email address ready.
  • Review the badge information and print your badge. The printer will provide a two piece white badge insert with your information on it that can be folded on the perforated line.
  • After printing your badge, pick up your holder and lanyard in the Registration Lounge. Place your badge insert inside of the clear badge holder and clip the badge holder onto the metal ring of the lanyard. 
  • If arriving Sunday (Presidential Forum) or Monday (sessions), allow 40–45 minutes for possible wait times.
