In 2025, we renamed our attendance methods to better convey the full scope of participation of our hybrid meeting. Previous meetings have had “in-person” and “virtual” attendance options. Now, virtual attendees have online access ONLY, and "hybrid" attendees, previously known as “in person”, will have access to both the onsite and virtual aspects of the meeting. By shifting the terminology, we hope to encourage attendees that join us onsite in Houston to also take advantage of the content virtually. If you can’t attend every session you’d like to in person, you can tune in to the meeting online so that you don’t miss out!
If you plan to attend onsite with us in Houston, please select Hybrid attendance when registering.
Please note that if you select virtual-only attendance, you will NOT be admitted to any programs or sessions taking place onsite in the convention center or other meeting space. To access any portion of the in-person meeting, you will need to switch your registration to hybrid attendance, and pay the remaining balance in full. The deadline to switch from virtual attendance to hybrid attendance is 6 January 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern. To change your attendance method, please email us at meetings@ametsoc.org. For all virtual to hybrid requests, a $50 processing fee will be added to your registration in addition to the fee difference regardless of the date of requested change.
In keeping with our goal to ensure that anyone who wants to participate in the Annual Meeting can do so, we will provide limited financial assistance to help cover or reduce the cost of registration fees. To learn more about the different programs offered, please click the button below.
