Keynote Talks

What to Expect:

  • FORMAT: Zoom Webinar / Live Keynote Presentation (Please refer to the online program to check the duration of the live presentation)

  • You will receive an email from an address that looks like this AMS25Producer <[email protected]> (please note that the number in the address may vary - we suggest you search your email for "[email protected]") with an invite and link to join the Zoom Webinar as a speaker. If you do not receive your link links 72 hours before your session begins, please reach out. Please accept that invitation to confirm receipt. Join your session via this link 20 minutes before it is scheduled to begin (not through the virtual meeting platform) so that you can answer audience questions during your presentation. If you cannot find the email with your link to join Zoom Webinar, please email a[email protected]

  • While you are speaking, your slide deck will be shown by tech support via screen share.

  • Plan to be unmuted and have your webcam on while presenting. (See our Speaker Tips for Presenting Virtually). Feel free to use our custom 101Annual Virtual Backgrounds.

  • If there is time at the end of the live presentation, the audience will ask questions via Zoom Webinar Chat. The Session Chair will read the questions aloud to for you to answer.

What to Prepare:

  • Slide Deck

    • Upload to the Live Session Upload Site (accessed through Presenter Zone) by 3 January. It will be shown by tech support via screen share during the live session. 

    • Max file size is 2GB.

    • File Types Accepted: .ppt, .png, .jpeg, .pdf (Apple Keynotes must be saved as an image file)

  • Pre-recorded Backup Video File

    • Uploaded in Presenter Zone by 3 January. It will only be shown in the event that there is a technical issue during your session that precludes you from presenting live as planned. 

    • File Size Max: 2GB

    • File Types Accepted: MP4

    • Video Resolution: 480p, 720p, 1080p. Videos will be scaled to 720p.

  • Extended Abstract (Optional)

    • Due: 15 February 2021

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Presenters who have not uploaded their files by 11:59pm EST on 3 January and who have not registered by 8 January will be withdrawn from the Annual Meeting. 

  • You received an email on Tuesday, 15 December from [email protected] with a link to login to Presenter Zone to view your presentation details and upload your Slide Deck and Prerecorded Backup Video File. If you have not received this email, please contact [email protected]

  • Please mark your calendar for the Live Speaker/Session Chair/Volunteer Training Session for Keynote Sessions that will take place 6 January. Look out for the Zoom Webinar invite link in your email.
