*Guests reserving at the government per diem rate must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Acceptable forms of identification include federal, state, local government, or military IDs. Failure to provide appropriate identification may result in the reservation being adjusted to the prevailing hotel rate.

Look Out for Hotel Scammers

If you do not book through the AMS official block, the AMS is unable to help you resolve any issues with the hotel.
Tech-savvy scammers create fake reservations and websites that look legitimate. If you book through these sites, you run the risk of arriving and not having a hotel room.
For your own protection, please do not make reservations through any unknown housing or travel company.
Never book from an email that does not come from an ametsoc.org email address.
Do not give your credit card information or make any reservations with any website other than the ones originated from AMS.
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
