  • Photo Release:  From time-to-time AMS uses photographs of conference events in its promotional materials. Unless this permission is revoked in writing to AMS, by virtue of their attendance all conference visitors agree to the use of their likeness in such materials.

  • Early registration rates are valid through Friday,1 December 2023. The last day to register for in-person registration, or switch attendance method between virtual and in-person, is 10 January 2024.

  • Please note that all payments must be made in full in order to attend this meeting. All unpaid registrations will be canceled if payment is not received by 10 January 2024. From 10 January 2024 through the end of the meeting, payment for registrations will be accepted by credit card only and must be completed online by the attendee using their AMS login.

  • Abstract Fee:  Please note that the fee of $120 paid by presenters during abstract submission is refundable only if the abstract is NOT accepted.  The abstract fee is separate from the registration fee.

  • No on-site registration will be available for in-person attendance. In-person attendance must be completed in advance.

  • All registrants will have access to present and/or attend the Virtual Poster Slam on 23 January 2024.

  • Cancellation policy: Those registered may cancel their registration up until and through 18 December. Refunds (less a $50 processing fee) will be granted. Please email [email protected] to request the cancellation. After 18 December, no refunds will be granted for canceled registrations.

  • Registration rates for the 104th Annual Meeting are the same for in-person and virtual participants. We made this decision so that we can offer a robust, flexible, and equal experience for everyone, whether you are in-person or virtual. Other factors involved include:

    • Increased costs for the in-person experience (audiovisual expenses, food and beverage costs, facility rental, on-site labor, travel costs, health and safety protocols etc.)

    • Increased costs for the remote experience (internet and hardware for live streaming, software for messaging and chat, labor, etc.)

    • It makes it easier for attendees to change their registration method from in-person to virtual and vice versa

    • It allows presenters the opportunity to present/facilitate discussion in-person or virtually with an in-person and virtual audience.
