2019 AMS Annual Meeting

Lunchtime weather briefings will be provided by meteorologists from the NOAA National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office in Phoenix, AZ, and students from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott, AZ). The focus of these 15–20-minute briefings will be on near- and short-term weather impacting the Southwest, including the Phoenix, AZ, area, and extreme weather affecting urban or other vulnerable areas across the globe.
