We are committed to ensuring that the 102nd Annual Meeting allows you to share your science and connect with one another however we can - whether it be in-person, remotely, or a mix of both - despite the uncertainties and challenges we are all facing. Regardless of the way you attend the Annual Meeting, we know it will be a useful and unique experience. Here are some notes on changes for this year:

  • All in-person participants will, in addition to access to all in-person offerings, will have access to all virtual content listed below before, during, and six months after the meeting takes place.
  • All remote participants will have access to all virtual content before, during, and six months after the meeting takes place:
    • 40+ live streams from the in-person oral sessions, for a total of 600+ sessions for the week and interact/ask questions via slido
    • Recordings from all in-person oral sessions
    • Online meeting rom links and presentation schedule for individual remote poster presentations
    • Abstracts and supplementary material (such as pdfs, links etc.) fr all presentations (in-person as well as remote)
    • Asynchronous q&a chat with presenters (in-person as well as remote) before and after presentations take place
    • Attendee t attendee (in-person and remote) messaging
    • Online exhibitor listing
  • Registration rates for the 102nd Annual Meeting are the same for in-person and remote participants. We made this decision so that we can offer a robust, flexible, and equal experience for everyone, whether you are in-person or remote. Other factors involved include:
    • Increased costs for the in-person experience (audiovisual expenses, food and beverage costs, on-site labor, health and safety/social distancing protocols etc)
    • Increased costs for the remote experience (internet and hardware for live streaming, software for messaging and chat, labor, etc)
    • To make it easier for attendees to change their registration method from in-person to virtual and vice versa
    • To allow presenters the opportunity to present/facilitate discussion in-person or remotely with an in-person and remote audience.
