Can do everything remote attendees can do, plus present remotely:
Must indicate that they prefer to present remotely (will not be traveling to Houston for the in-person Annual Meeting) by choosing “Virtual Presentation” as preferred presentation type during the abstract submission process
Can change this preference before the abstract submission deadline
Can change this preference after acceptance emails are sent and online program is posted but before 1 November.
Will be assigned a remote poster slot
There will be a limited number of virtual poster slots available per session
May submit supplementary materials such as their poster image, slides, extended abstract, link to video of poster presentation etc. for posting in the online program and mobile app.
Will not be assigned a specific presentation date/time but must take place during the recommended time frame (TBD). Will be able to post a link to an online meeting room (googlemeet, zoom, or similar - set up by virtual poster presenter) and dates/times for in-person and remote attendees to join to discuss the virtual poster in real time.
Suggestions/direction on this will be posted at a later date.
Will field questions asked by remote and in-person attendees via asynchronous chat feature connected to abstract in the online program and mobile app
Presenters are alerted via email that a chat has come in for them
