2015 AMS Annual Meeting

The Core Science Keynotes series is a new element of the AMS Annual Meeting. It is intended to highlight, discipline by discipline, the foundational knowledge and research challenges that drive our field forward as a whole. Each keynote speaker, selected by their particular conference, will summarize the state of current knowledge in their field in a manner accessible to all AMS disciplines. They will also describe future research directions, the challenges in pursuing them, and the expected benefits to both the discipline and to the society’s broad science and applications directions. The Core Science Keynotes will be linked as a series in the program so that interested attendees may gain broad exposure to the scientific forefront of our work by attending several or all of these presentations.
