2015 AMS Annual Meeting

The National Weather Service Phoenix Forecast Office and students from Arizona State University will present daily lunchtime weather briefings at the 2015 Annual Meeting. The focus of these 15–20-minute briefings will be on near- and short-term weather impacting the Phoenix area and extreme weather affecting urban or other vulnerable areas across the globe. This year the briefings will also include a Space Weather Briefing by a representative of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center.
