Wednesday, 7 January, 12:00–1:30 P.M.; Room 213AB
The Board on Women and Minorities is pleased to sponsor the 2015 Women in Atmospheric Science Luncheon on Wednesday, 7 January 2015.
The role of women leaders in the weather, water and climate enterprise has cultivated over the last several decades, and continues to evolve. This topic has garnered much attention across the scientific community here and abroad. Ms. Furgione will discuss this as well as reflect upon her own experience in getting to where she is today - Deputy Director for the US National Weather Service.
Over lunch, attendees will also have an opportunity for further discussion and networking. Harris Corporation will be providing a limited number of box lunches.
Please plan to attend and for more information contact AMS Board on Women and Minorities Chair, Melissa Burt ([email protected]).
