Women in the Atmospheric Sciences Luncheon

Tuesday, lonAD, 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
BCEC, 205C

As part of the AMS Centennial celebration, the 2020 Women in the Atmospheric Sciences Luncheon will celebrate the Evolution of Women in AMS: “Past, Present & Future”. We have come a long way: we must learn from the past (keynote: Valerie Samson, granddaughter of AMS founder), embrace the present and work together to shape the path forward for Women in AMS. We are all part of the puzzle, your story is our story, come join us. Everyone is welcome!

For more information, contact the AMS Board on Women and Minorities (BWM) Chair Aaron J. Piña ([email protected]) or the Luncheon planning committee lead Yaitza Luna-Cruz ([email protected]). Limited room capacity. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.  Come early!
