The First Annual Disaster and Emergency Management Symposium is sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Emergency Management. The goal of this symposium is to bridge the two fields of meteorology and disaster management to explore common challenges, accomplishments, and topics of relevancy. All topics involving disaster and emergency management are welcomed.
