Call for Papers

Major Weather Impacts is looking at the science, decision support and the impacts of major weather events that occurred in the winter of 2022-23 and throughout the year of 2023.  From hurricanes, to winter storms, from tsunami events to severe weather outbreaks, if a weather, water or climate event impacted the public or your clients, this session is for you.  We have one day of presentations and a poster session that you can submit to.

We will not accept papers/posters that do not cover this time frame or focus on the topic of weather impacts.

Deadline:  August 24th  (There WILL NOT be an extension for this conference call for papers).  Significant events after August 24th will have presentations/speakers who are invited/recruited by the conference committee
